Do I need an account?
No. You choose a name to show strangers, and that is all. There is no email, password, or phone number.
How do the chat filters work?
Set an age range and pick the genders you want to meet before starting. Both people's filters have to accept each other, so the stranger you meet also chose to meet someone like you.
Is it anonymous?
Your identity lives in a secret key held by your browser and never leaves it. The server stores only a hash, so it can recognise you on your next visit without being able to impersonate you.
Is there video chat?
No. rchat is text only, on purpose. Nothing is recorded from your camera or microphone because neither is ever used.
